Yadgir, Deputy Commissioner M Kurma Rao instructed the officials to gear up for setting up a laboratory to perform Covid-19 tests in the newly constructed district hospital building.

Paying a visit to the district hospital, he inspected the
place for installing oxygen pipes and Covid-19 test laboratory.

Random tests should be conducted to contain the spread of Covid-19 across the district. Therefore, the test lab should be readied at the earliest, he said.

District Surgeon Narayanappa and others were present.
