Yadgir, The district administration has kept ready 850 beds in various hospitals of the district to ensure proper medical treatments for Covid-19 cases, said Additional Deputy Commissioner Prakash G Rajput.

A total of 200 beds have been arranged at Surpur Supervised Quarantine Centre, 250 beds at Supervised Isolation Centre at Bhimarayangudi Agriculture College in Shahapur taluk, 250 beds at Ekalavya Residential School Supervised Isolation Centre at Yadgir taluk and 50 beds at the Supervised Quarantine Centre at Arakera (K) Hostel. The new district hospital has been made Covid-19 hospital with 100 beds in Yadgir, he said.

The people need not panic as the district administration has taken precautionary measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, he said.
