Yadgir: The district administration has initiated stringent measures to check the movement of people on the streets. Deputy Commissioner M Kurma Rao has warned the people who violate the prohibitory orders of legal action. 

Speaking at the press meet here, he said, more than five people should not move together and people should not come out of the houses unnecessarily. Maintaining social distance and staying at home is the only way to check the spread of Covid-19. 

 As many as 70 people who had returned from foreign countries to the district are under home isolation. Stickers would be stick on their houses. They should strictly follow the guidelines of the health department. Legal action would be taken against the violators. Already a case has been registered for not following the home quarantine rules.
