Madikeri: One case of Corona Virus has been conrmed in Kodagu district on Thursday.

This is the rst case in the district and 15th case in the state.

Minister for Health B Sriramulu in his tweet has conrmed the same. He has informed that the person had

returned after a tour to Saudi Arabia.

“He has been quarantined,” informed the Minister.

It may be recalled that the positive cases in the state stood at 14 till Wednesday evening.

The last case to be tested positive was a 35-year-old man who came from USA

As per sources as many as 80 persons are under observation in the state.

A 76-year-old person from Kalaburgi had died due to the infection in the state so far.
