Kalaburagi, The police on Friday arrested three of the four dacoits in connection with a dacoity at a flat in an apartment of the City on Friday.

By brandishing a toy pistol and a knife, a team of four dacoits made away with Rs 50,000, a Mahindra TUV-300 and mobiles from the house belonging to Kahalid Ahmed Chandsab (68). He is the resident of Asian Lifestyle Apartment of Kuvempu Nagar. The dacoits pressed calling bell of the house in wee hours of Friday. As soon as Khalid opened the door, they brandished the toy pistol and a knife and took him to the balcony. They also assaulted car driver Chandrakshekhar who was sleeping in a corner of the house and took him also to the balcony. The dacoits then made away with cash, mobile and the car. “Based on the complaint registered by Khalid Ahmed with Station Bazar Police, Inspector L H Goundi and the staff arrested Asif Saheb Khan (22), a resident of MSK Mill. During interrogation, he admitted that he along with other three friends committed the crime,” said Police Commissioner N Satish Kumar.
