KALABURAGI, A 35-year-old woman tested positive for Covid-19 in the district taking the tally to 53 including five deaths on Thursday. She contracted the virus from the 32-year-old man (P314). The woman is undergoing treatment at the ESIC hospital in the City.

Meanwhile, a 32-year-old-woman (P302), upon recovery from Covid-19, has been discharged from ESIC hospital on Thursday. The woman had contracted the virus from P274 and admitted to the hospital on April 7. Out of 53 positive cases, five died and eight people recovered from the virus and discharged from the hospital, said B Deputy Commissioner B Sharat.
