Migrant laborers return to their villages
Bidar, As many as 21 labourers who had stranded in Bengaluru after the announcement of lockdown, returned to their native places in the district on Friday. They arrived in the special transport service arranged for them.
Totally 31 labourers had started from Bengaluru and of them, 10 labourers alighted in Kalaburagi. Other 21 workers reached Bidar on Friday night. The district administration provided them with food and sent them to the respective villages in private vehicles.
Meanwhile, the district administration has issued strict instructions to the medical stores to provide information on the people seeking medicines for fever, cough and cold. It has asked the medical stores not to provide fever medicines without the prescription of the doctors.
The private hospitals in Old City area have already closed and police have not been allowing people to come out of the houses in the red zone.
