K’buragi sizzles at 41 degree Celsius
KALABURAGI, The people who are living under the fear of Covid-19 will have to sweat it out in the scorching sun. Kalaburagi city recorded a temperature of 41 degree Celsius on Saturday.
Indian Meteorological Department predicted that temperature is likely to touch 42 degree Celsius from April 8. Like previous years, the State government has so far not issued any circular changing the timings of the government offices coming under Kalyana Karnataka region.
The residents have now escaped the simmering heat as they stayed indoors due to the complete lockdown following Covid-19 outbreak. The electronic shops have downed their shutters and people cannot buy coolers, fans and airconditioners now.
Mercury level has touched 39 degree Celsius in Raichur on Saturday. The temperature has also seen a rise in Koppal, Bidar, Yadgir and Ballari districts of the region.
