India’s total number of coronavirus positive cases rises to 6,761 (including 6,039 active cases, 516 cured/discharged/migrated patients and 206 deaths
Delhi today reported 183 new coronavirus cases, taking its total figures up to 903. Of the 183 new cases, 154 are linked to the Markaz congregation in south Delhi’s Nizamuddin area last month. The national capital also reported two deaths today. The government today said 37 deaths and 896 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is the sharpest ever increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the country. “India’s total number of coronavirus positive cases rises to 6,761 (including 6,039 active cases, 516 cured/discharged/migrated patients and 206 deaths,” said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. “In the last 48 hours, about 1,487 COVID-19 cases have been reported across the country.
The global death toll due to the coronavirus pandemic crossed the one lakh mark today, with 1,00,090 fatalities having been reported. According to a tally, 1,638,216 cases have been reported so far around the world and 3,69,017 patients have recovered.
