99 centres set up to conduct SSLC exams in Bidar dist
Bidar,: As many as 99 centres have been established for the
smooth conduct of the SSLC examinations across the district from March 27,
informed Deputy Commissioner H R Mahadeva.
Chairing
the preparatory meeting at his office auditorium here, he said, the
examinations should be conducted in a free and fair manner. The supervisors
should visit the exam centres well in advance and inspect the
preparations.
All
the centres should have toilets, drinking water and furniture, he said.
Use of mobile phone and watches inside the
examination halls are prohibited. Ban orders should be clamped around 200-metre
radius of the examination centres. Other than the staff deputed on the
examination duty and the students who write the examinations, none should be
allowed inside the examination centres, he said.
Police should ensure security in the examination centres, he
added.
Deputy
Director of Public Instructions Chandrashekar said, a total of 26,882
students, including 14,364 boys and 12,518 girls will be writing the
examinations in the district.
Six
vigilance squads have been formed in the district-level. Two stationed squads
and one inspection team have been provided for sensitive and hyper-sensitive
centres.
