Vijaypur, : Deputy Commissioner Y S Patil informed that as many as 4159 stranded workers have come to the district from different States as on Tuesday.

Giving details of the people who have come to the district from other States and districts, he said, 1,667 migrant workers have left the district for other States.

He said, 163 have come from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, 1,069 from Maharashtra, 2,659 from Goa and 268 from Gujarat. As many as 887 have left the district for Rajasthan, 27 for Madhya Pradesh, 60 for Andhra Pradesh, 70 for West Bengal, 211 for Uttar Pradesh and 53 for Jharakhand. He said, 22,592 people have come to the district from other districts and all of them have been subjected either to home quarantine or to institutional quarantine.

As many as 3,377 people have used Arogya Setu app, he informed.
