14 people returned to K’buragi after attending Nizamuddin meet: DC
KALABURAGI, A total of 14 people who have returned to the district after attending a religious congregation at Nizamuddin in Delhi, have been identified. They have been home quarantined and a strict vigil has been kept on them, said Deputy Commissioner B Sharat.
He said, the district administration has information that a total of 26 people from the district attended the mass prayer at Nizamuddin. Of them, 14 persons have returned to the district while six people stayed back and three are living in other districts of the State.
The dreaded virus is spreading fast across the nation. A man has already succumbed to Covid-19 in Kalaburagi. Hence, those who attended the mass prayer should inform the district administration and undergo medical check-up, the DC appealed
Time is not rife to celebrate saying no positive cases have been reported in the district. As positive cases are on the
rise in other districts of the State, we need to be careful. Hence, people should maintain social distancing and stay at home to prevent the spread of the virus.
Some districts have been identified as red zones as the positive cases have been surging with each passing day in the State. Kalaburagi should not become a red zone. Hence, the people should not venture out of their houses, Sharat appealed.
